2. What type of real-time instrument do you have? (top)
We have an ABI/Life Technologies StepOnePlus Real-Time PCR instrument. For more information on the instrument, including manuals and free software please visit their website http://www.lifetechnologies.com/order/catalog/product/4376600

3. How do I schedule a run (self-service) for the StepOnePlus? (top)
There are three steps you need to take in order to use the self-service option.
1) Create an account with the PAN Facility. This is for billing purposes.
2) Create an account with the StepOne Calendar.
3) Schedule a quick 15-30min tutorial with a member of the PAN Facility on how to use the StepOnePlus instrument

Please contact us if you're running late, we can usually wait.

4. How much does it cost? (top)
Please check our current price list.

5. What primers does the PAN Facility provide? (top)
Unfortunately, we do not provide any primers or assays for the real-time qPCR service. We can provide a copy of the Primer Express software and suggestions on how to design primers.

6 . What concentration should the DNA be? (top)

*RNA/DNA must be measured on a Nanodrop and/or BioAnalyzer.
**Assume 100% conversion of RNA to cDNA and dilute RT accordingly.

7. How much sample is needed for Full Service? (top)
Submission requirement for Full Service: at least 16ul/sample. Please contact us if you don't have enough sample for submission.
