The PAN Facility can provide the chips, Biacore approved Buffers and reagents or Investigators can choose to provide their own. The instrument is maintained in a "ready to operate" condition by PAN staff. Please email Michael Eckart to schedule time on the instrument or consulting time. Non-Stanford researchers may access the PAN facility on a limited basis, please contact the PAN director at 650-723-1907 for more information. 2. Staffed hours (back to top) The PAN facility staff is available to answer your questions and help you with problems Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. 3. How to schedule usage time for the Biacore?(back to top) Please email Michael Eckart to schedule usage time for the Biacore. 4. Off-hours access (back to top) Access on nights/weekends is given only to current users who have completed at least 3 sessions of independent use on the Biacore system and who the PAN facility staff feels can operate the equipment comfortably. Experienced users can apply for off-hours access. Please allow 2-3 days for processing of your request. Off-hours access is given at the discretion of the director and may be cancelled for any user who doesn't adhere to PAN facility policies. 5.
